Historical traditions dating back to the 18th century from Aldeia das Dez, such as carving and gilding, have been reinterpreted and applied in a contemporary, functional set of dishes.
The organic composition shares the
carvings with the play on volumes. Glazed and painted finishes combine with the natural white of the porcelain itself, 10 relates local crafts with industry, demonstrating a unique perspective of the traditions of Aldeia das Dez.
TECHNICAL DATA
Set of three porcelain plates, 25.5cm, 22.5cm and 17.2cm in diameter. Prototype produced by 3D printing in ABS thermoplastic. Mould in pine wood with the negative of the piece.
