DECA UA
+ SCHIST VILLAGES

Project developed by 2nd year students on the degree in design at DECA - Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro.
PORTUGUESE AGRICULTURE continues a number of other, earlier projects, in which the issues of responsibility and social activism of design are strategically intersected with the product, communication or services.
Students investigated the reality and the culture of the territory, visited the villages and collected a number of raw materials with which they constructed the arguments of their work. This contact proved to be very important, raising awareness about who we are and the values that we share.
The connection with the Fab Lab introduced the digital component present in each of the artifacts. An opportunity to acquire new knowledge and employ methods that the students, the new actors, can apply in the future.
